Information you submit
The website stores information that visitors deliberately submit through contact, community idea, town hall question and similar participation forms. Depending on the form, this may include a name, email address, optional phone number and the content submitted.
Community participation
Ideas and town hall questions are moderated before public display. Where anonymous display is selected, the public page does not show the submitter's name. An optional email address may be used to send status updates about a submission.
Pulse & duplicate prevention
APM Pulse stores aggregate responses. A random browser identifier is stored in a secure cookie and converted to a one-way hash to reduce duplicate responses and spam. The participation tools are not designed to create individual political, demographic or psychographic profiles.
Purpose
Submitted information is used to administer public participation, moderate submissions, respond where appropriate, operate the website and maintain service security. Visitors should avoid submitting passwords, financial credentials or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Technical data
The site may use ordinary server logs, rate limiting and security controls required to operate and protect the service. Theme preference is stored locally in the visitor's browser.
Retention & access
Submitted information is available only to authorized administrators according to their assigned permissions. Retention procedures can be updated as the platform's governance policies mature.
